ELECTION NOTICE 

The following resolution was proposed by Trustee Farone who moved its adoption and seconded by Trustee Barry that Pursuant to Section 15-104 (3) (b) of the Election Law of the State of New York, the General Village Election for the Village of Albion, Orleans County, New York, will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2021 at the Village of Albion Board Room, 35 East Bank Street, Albion, New York, with the polls opening at 12:00 Noon and closing at 9:00 PM and the name and address of those persons duly nominated for Village Offices are listed as follows:           

DEMOCRATIC PARTY

            TRUSTEE      -           3 years, Zachary Burgess; 309 Hamilton Street, Albion NY

 

REPUBLICAN PARTY

            TRUSTEE      -           3 years, Joe Martillotta; 250 North Main Street, Albion NY 

The Village will NOT be holding a registration day.  All eligible voters should register with the County Board of Elections.  Deadline for registration to vote in the Village Election is March 5, 2021.

PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Village of Albion Board of Trustees will conduct a Public Hearing at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at the Village of Albion Board Room, 35-37 East Bank Street, Albion, New York, to consider amending the Code of the Village of Albion by adding two (2) stop signs to CHAPTER 263-45 Stop Intersections of the Code of the Village of Albion.

Any person interested in this matter is invited to attend the February 24, 2021 meeting of the Village Board of Trustees to speak in favor or opposition of said amendment.
