Annual Drinking Water Quality Report for 2015

The Annual Drinking Water Quality Report has been published for 2015. Our water system serves approximately 15,000 people in the Village of Albion, Albion/Orleans Correctional Facility, and Towns of Albion, Barre, Carlton, Gaines, Murray and Ridgeway. The total water produced in 2015 was 516,697,000 gallons for an average daily production of 1,415,600 gallons a day. The maximum output for a single day was 2,440,000 gallons. The amount of water delivered to customers was 427,092,291 gallons. An additional 9,953,144 gallons were used in the treatment process and Village buildings. This leaves 79,651,565 gallons (15.42%) unaccounted for as a result of leaks, fires, and unmetered Village Buildings. Included in the total water delivered, Village residents used 148,095,578 gallons, the Albion/Orleans Correctional Facility 81,721,277 gallons, the Town of Albion 41,707,411 gallons, the Town of Barre 15,306,600 gallons, the Town of Carlton 71,224,577 gallons, the Town of Gaines 47,692,848 gallons, the Town of Murray 19,120,00 gallons, and the Town of Ridgeway 2,224,000 gallons.
